Frosted Branches:Woodland Textures

Currently in Hatton House Gallery, Dunkeld

It is cool and calm and peaceful in the woodland this morning. A soft and misty woodland scene, this is painting is a more abstract interpretation than some of the others in the series.  Although painted in complementary colours, the cool purples contrast, only very softly, with the buttery yellow colours.

Now framed in a hand finished frame in a deep almost-black purple.
