I live in the Tay valley in an area that often floods. Recently I have been fascinated by the patterns and textures that this flooding produces. One of the reasons why it floods is because the river was redirected at the time of building the railway line. This is a view looking across the flooded fields towards the Dalguise Viaduct from a section of river stranded, I think, by this redirection, and known locally as the Stank.
Now framed with a wide off-white mount and a narrow oak frame.
